# Alexandria Trading PLC

> Alexandria Trading PLC is an authorized Weichai distributor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We import genuine Weichai diesel engine oil, LNG and CNG engine oil and grease directly from Weichai, and supply fleets, workshops and resellers across Ethiopia.

Key facts:
- Weichai relationship: authorized Weichai distributor in Ethiopia. Products are bought directly from Weichai.
- About Weichai: Weichai is China's largest maker of heavy-truck engines. Its engines power trucks, buses, construction machines and generators, including many of the Shacman and Sinotruk trucks on Ethiopian roads. Weichai makes this oil for its own engines.
- LNG and CNG: Natural gas trucks, buses and generators are arriving in Ethiopia, and the engine oil they need has been hard to find. We import Weichai 15W-40 Natural Gas Engine Oil, made by China's leading maker of natural gas truck engines.
- Products: Weichai CI-4 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil (18 L pail and 200 L drum); Weichai 15W-40 Natural Gas Engine Oil (18 L pail and 200 L drum); Weichai No. 3 EP Lithium Grease (15 kg pail and 175 kg drum).
- Weichai CI-4 20W-50 diesel engine oil and GL-5 gear oils (85W-90 and 85W-140) can be ordered with a later shipment.
- Stock: Now taking orders. Our first shipment is on its way from Weichai Singapore.
- Prices: written quotes on request. No public price list, because prices depend on quantity and the exchange rate.

- People: Alexandria Trading is run by Daniel Temesgen and Aklilu Tadesse, who built Garri Logistics, an Ethiopian logistics company that moves freight across the country. Running trucks there showed them first-hand how fake and refilled oil damages trucks and machines, and how much a ruined engine costs.
